We designed and installed this project to be the ultimate outdoor entertainment and living space. The pool is an 18 x 36 sport pool being only 4.5’ deep. Not up for swimming? Enjoy a seat in the 10 x 14 tanning ledge. At only 9” deep, you can cool off and relax without taking a swim. We created a masonry wall behind the pool that not only hides the pool equipment, but contains 3 waterfalls into the pool, a 10’ long fire bar in the center wall and two fire pits on each end. The pool is surrounded by almost 5,000 square feet of Silver Travertine pavers which are the ideal choice to use around a pool due to their coolness under foot in the hot summer sun. A hot tub with gas tiki torches surrounding it was installed for relaxing on those cool Summer and Fall evenings. If relaxing in the hot tub is not your thing, you can sit on the nearby patio and enjoy a cocktail by the custom hammered copper gas fire pit. A vast variety of landscape beds were installed to compliment the new space and provide color and interest for every season. Phase 2 in 2020 will involve our crews with installing an outdoor kitchen & pavilion, followed by landscape lighting to finish off the project.

We have been working with this client over the past three years installing new landscaping and replacing paver patios that were incorrectly installed by another contractor.  When deciding to install an inground pool, they decided to continue working with us to come up with a design for the new pool, patio and plantings.  Once the design was finalized, our crews installed new custom granite slab coping around the new pool along with the new patio using the Unilock Treo pavers with the Endura finish.  A nice diving rock was installed to match the new patio and coping.  The new landscape plantings will be installed in Spring of 2019.

We were hired by this long-time client to remove and replace the existing paver pool patio that had been installed incorrectly by the original contractor.  Over the years, large sink holes were appearing around the pools edge which became costly to repair time and time again, and the pavers were not properly blended during installation causing large color swatches.  The client decided it was time to fix the ongoing problem permanently.  We removed all the old pavers, installed and properly compacted a new gravel base, then installed the new patio using the Techo-Bloc Aberdeen pavers.  The end result was beautiful, and was beyond our client’s expectations.

We were referred to this client by another happy client of ours.  This project was very entailed and required our crews to perform many different upgrades to the back-pool area.  After our design was approved for the new upgrades, we started by replacing all of the Pine facia boards and pillar wraps on the deck with new Trex composite boards to eliminate the previous maintenance of staining.  We then excavated the hillside to gain access to the pool area with our equipment and materials.  We removed all of the old paver patio and pool coping, installed a new gravel base, new pool coping, and new updated pavers using the Unilock Beacon Hill paver in Almond Grove color.  Our stonemasons-built Goshen Stone pillars with granite coping around all of the deck posts to add a nice stone feel to the project as well as double a mini drink tables during large gatherings.  A Goshen Stone retaining/seat wall was also constructed.  Large granite steps were installed up the hillside to reach the top driveway, as well as a large Goshen Stone retaining wall to help with the grades on the project.  Pool fencing was updated to a newer style black aluminum fencing.  The slope was then re-built and finished off with new plantings to compliment the existing surroundings.  The end result was a total transformation admired by all.

We were asked by our client to design an outdoor living space that would create an oasis type feel for their backyard. We were able to start with a blank slate which made the design process open to many possibilities. After several renderings, we were able to lock onto the final design and the end result was a beautiful living space that gives a spa like feel.

The project consisted of a new in-ground pool complete with a waterfall, jumping rock, and water jets built by the pool contractor. Over 2,000 sq ft of patio space was installed using the Techo-Bloc Aberdeen pavers. A Goshen Stone patio was constructed around the fire pit and seat wall to give a slight contrast of natural stone versus pavers. A separate paver patio was installed under the 16x16 pavilion which was outfitted with the latest Bluetooth sound technology and outdoor TV. Rock speakers were also installed throughout the landscape to give the entire project the ultimate sound experience for entertaining family & friends, all controlled by smart phone or tablet.

We put the finishing touches on the project with new landscaping and low voltage lighting. The project outcome was absolutely amazing and pictures do not do it justice.

R.J.M. Landscaping was contacted by this homeowner to design an attractive poolside area for entertaining. An existing two tier wooden deck was removed to maximize available space for tables and chairs. Our design included a grade level patio out of Unilock Europavers with a Unilock Copethorne banding for uniqueness and radius steps that emerge from each entrance for patio access. A small seat wall was added to compliment the patio as well as add additional seating for guests and screen for the pool equipment. To finish the job, we added a landscape of low maintenance shrubs and accent trees around the pool.

Our client had an existing concrete patio around their in-ground pool that was no longer a pleasant site. Upon our site visit, we saw that the concrete was still in excellent condition with no cracks, just discolored. We recommended that the patio be overlaid with concrete pavers. This option would eliminate the costly expense of removing and disposing the existing concrete patio and preparing a new base for a new pavement. After exploring all the pavement options, our client chose the Techo-Bloc Blu-45 overlay system. After the product was installed it gave our client a beautiful new pavement around their pool for a fraction of the cost and installation time.

We were contacted by this client to come up with a new design to refresh and add space to their existing pool area. After careful planning a design was in place. We installed a beautiful curved Goshen Stone seat wall to add on to an existing stone wall. The new wall added an additional place for guests to sit and allow for more open patio space, while adding the beauty of natural stone to the project. The pavers chosen for this project were the Unilock Brussels Pavers in the Sierra color with an accent banding of the Unilock Series 3000 pavers in the Black Granite color. A new landscape was installed around the pool area to add year round color and interest for all to enjoy. The end result is a beautiful oasis for the client and guests alike to enjoy for many years to come.

Our current client had contacted us to design a larger and more usable space in their back yard around the pool. After a couple design meetings we had a final plan and we were off and running. Our stone masons crafted this gorgeous raised patio using Goshen stone. We incorporated some larger boulders into the walls to give character and a unique appearance to the project. The walls, steps, and fire pit were all capped in Granite to give a nice clean, rich look. We installed copper low voltage lighting fixtures in the walls to give a nice ambiance at night and to create a relaxing mood when sitting around the fire pit. The new paver patio that was installed was done using the Unilock Brussels pavers in the Terra Cotta color to match the existing patios. We installed new landscaping around this new outdoor space to add filtered privacy and to finish off this new stunning project.
