Poolscape Entertaining in Easthampton, MA 01027

Our client contacted RJM Landscaping requesting a design plan to utilize their large backyard to create an outdoor entertaining space. We designed the perfect outdoor living space and turned this backyard into a massive entertaining space for the whole family to enjoy for many years to come!

We started by having a 20 x 40 heated pool, complete with an 8 ft tanning ledge and LED lights installed last fall by Juliano’s Pools and Spas. This 2021 season, we provided the outdoor living space by first adding a beautiful Granite coping to the pool and then finished the pool off by adding a giant Granite jumping rock to the deep end. We installing over 2,500 sq ft of patio space surrounding the pool using Unilock Beacon Hill Flagstone pavers in the Steel Mountain color, with a decorative banding using Unilock Copthorne pavers in the color Basalt and finished it off with a soldier’s course using Unilock Brussels Half Stone in the color Limestone. We installed a built-in paver in-lay, to resemble an area rug using the same Unilock Copthorne pavers in the color Basalt that was used to create the banding. We then added a beautiful vinyl 16 x 20 pavilion installed by Hometown Structures over the section with the built-in area rug, providing a covered space to entertain.

On the far end of the patio, we built an additional raised patio and installed a Unilock Rivercrest wood-burning fire pit with plenty of room for everyone to enjoy. Irrigation was added to the areas where the lawn was to be installed and then we installed the finishing touches by creating and installing landscape plantings.
