4/9/2010 Hydro seeding at future amphitheatre in Holyoke
R.J.M. Landscaping was contracted to hydro seed 19 acres of the site. The seeding began on Friday, April 9th and will continue through the end of the month, as crews prepare the areas for us. Once completed the site will be a beautiful area with rolling grass slopes and many flat areas as well for people to enjoy. Hydro seeding was chosen because of the quick germination that it produces along with the protection from erosion from any heavy spring rainfall. With proper irrigation, lawn should be up in about 3-4 weeks versus the 4-6 weeks that conventional seeding takes.
